Paulo Bruscky é um dos nomes mais significativos da arte contemporânea brasileira. Artista associado ao Fluxus, foi um importante participante do movimento de arte postal. Em seu trabalho, ele investiga as relações entre a palavra e a imagem por meio de performances, colagens, instalações, vídeo e poesia. Em seu processo de pesquisa e criação, o artista utiliza de um imenso arquivo de referências e materiais acumulados ao longo de várias décadas. O projeto gráfico do livro buscou registrar essa faceta de Bruscky por meio de um formato que evoca a ideia de um arquivo (que se desdobra e expande revelando poesias perdidas no tempo e no espaço), além de combinar papéis e fontes distintas.
Paulo Bruscky is one of the most significant names in Brazilian contemporary art. Artist associated with Fluxus, he was an important player in the international mail-art movement. In his work, investigates the relationships between word and image through performances, collages, installations, video and poetry. In his process of research and creation, the artist uses an immense archive of references and materials accumulated over several decades. The design of the book Arquivo Impresso: Poesia Inédita (Printed File: Unpublished Poetry) tried to capture this facet of Brusque. Through a format that evokes an idea of a file (that unfolds and expands revealing a poetry lost in time and space) and the use of different papers and typefaces for each poem.
